For newborn photos if you like them at their tiniest I recommended between 5 and 14 days old however I photograph newborns up to 12 weeks old.

Babies are often more sleepy in the first 2 weeks after birth and curl up like they have been in the womb. Another benefit to this time is most partners are on paternity leave.

I love photographing newborns any age up to 3 months old.  Any older and I recommend a family photo shoot which is a but shorter.

Babies around 7 weeks old start to smile and have more character.

I love to photograph babies in their own home. It is the most natural and familiar setting for your newborn. Everything you need is in your home- it really is the best place to have your newborn photographs taken.

Every home is suitable. Many people renovate their home when a baby is due to for arrival and it really is no problem. I just need one room for a bean bag and backdrop if you are renovating.

If your home is not being decorated but you are worried about mess, please don't be. Every home I visit has some mess- it is usually clothes, washing, kitchen, bedside tables and the clutter that seems to come from nowhere! In just 5 minutes I can help you to turn your bedroom into a hotel room! all it takes is to clear your bedside tables and hide any mess out of shot. You would be amazed at what we can hide with photography. I like to keep it real but admit it no-one wants their mess photographed!

I live in Bristol but am freelance which means I bring all of my equipment to your home. Your family can be photographed in the comfort of your own home without having to make a trip out with a newborn baby.

I include travel up to an hour from Bristol for no extra charge.  (This includes Bath, Newport, Somerset, Cardiff, Chepstow, Portishead.)

Beyond this I charge 40p per extra mile.

I do encourage the value of the printed product and every package includes a set of prints. I also sell a variety of exquisite wall art not found on the high street. Plus luxury photo albums.

Yes of course! Everyone is welcome in the photos. Siblings shots will mean so much to you. Pets are family members too and I always do my best to include them in a family portrait with baby.

To book your newborn baby photoshoot it costs £99.  This is for your baby plan and includes 3 photoshoots in your baby's first year.

Photo packages are purchased after each photo shoot. 

The 6-month and 1st year photoshoots are complementary.
